GymVerify ("we", "our", or "us") operates the GymVerify mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the App.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, phone number, gender, and profile photo (if provided).

Authentication Data: If you sign in using Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and basic profile information from those services. We do not receive or store your Apple or Google password.

Gym Membership Data: We collect information about your gym memberships, passes, and check-in history to provide the core functionality of the App.

Subscription & Payment Data: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive a transaction receipt from Apple to verify your subscription status. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Camera Access: The App requests camera access solely to scan QR codes for gym check-ins and joining gyms. We do not capture, store, or transmit photos or video from your camera.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Provide gym membership management features
• Process and verify subscription purchases
• Enable QR code scanning for gym check-ins
• Communicate with you about your account or the App
• Improve and maintain the App

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• Gym Owners/Trainers: If you join a gym through the App, the gym owner can see your name, email, membership status, pass details, and check-in history at their gym.
• Service Providers: We may share data with third-party services that help us operate the App (e.g., hosting, analytics), under strict confidentiality agreements.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, or legal process.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@gymverify.com.

5. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), secure password hashing, and access controls. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it promptly.
